Reality is great, but I like giving it a little tweak -- improvising with color, streamlining shapes and weaving playful patterns. Unfolding with a life of its own, each painting is a journey and a joy!   Bay Area painter Nancy Roberts is a working artist, art instructor and licensed architect. With many awards and honors to her credit, Nancy's work is in public and private collections across the country.  She is an avid plein air painter, and has been invited to participate in several regional events including the Carmel Art Festival, the Frank Bette Plein Air Paint-Out in Alameda, and the Scene on the Strait in Martinez.  Her work can be seen at Valley Art Gallery in Walnut Creek.
